About Me

Design Mentor, Artist, Biker, Master Diver, and Dog Mom

Creativity and the curiosity to reverse-engineer almost anything have been key catalysts for success in my career. I love designing systems for efficiency and empathy. Life is hard, but technology shouldn’t be.

More than pushing pixels, I’ve worn many hats and consider myself a lifelong student. I excel in ambiguous environments and play well with others. I believe we are all creative and capable of building a better future; collaborating together is the fastest way there.

While I enjoy consulting for a variety of industries, I’m currently seeking a long-term UX and/or UI Design role with a single client or employer involving SaaS, design systems, data visualization, and/or artificial intelligence.

Core Skills

I’m forever curious and currently dabbling in GenAI, but the following skills have been most prevalent in my career. I learn best by both observing and doing; sometimes I teach myself new tricks to connect with others.

Word On The Street

What is it like to work with me? Here are some things said about or to me.

Emily is a very strong contributor. I believe she would be well suited to lead a work stream / team of designers in her next engagement.
